Approved work health and safety training help health and safety representatives (HSRs) to understand and fulfill their role and functions.

HSRs are entitled to attend an approved five-day training course in work health and safety and a one day refresher course each year during their term of office.

Course Requirements
Whether you are new to the construction industry or looking to refresh your skills, our course provides a solid foundation for a successful career

Proof of Identity

Participants must provide proof of identification (ID) including one photo ID.

Attendance

Please arrive 15 minutes early for on-site sessions to complete registration. For online classes, log in 15 minutes prior to start time for setup.

USI (Unique Student Identifier)

LLN (Language, Literacy & Numeracy)

Basic understanding, reading, and writing skills in English are required. All students must complete an LLN assessment to determine their eligibility for enrolment

PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)

We will provide shared PPE on the day (individual earplugs will be provided). Participants are welcome to bring their own PPE if they are uncomfortable with sharing.
