   OH&S Consultation (NSW WorkCover Accredited) COST: $575 GST FREE DURATION: 4 days (9am-4pm) Under the NSW Occupational Health and Safety Act 2000, employers are required to ensure that all committee members and workplace health and safety representatives are appropriately trained. This four day course has been developed by the WorkCover Authority NSW and is designed to give participants the skills and experience they require to effectively carry out their roles as committee members and/or OH&S representatives. The course provides an introduction to OH&S legislation including the role of consultation, and introduces participants to the concepts of risk management. It will allow participants to be involved with the development, implementation and review of their organisation’s OH&S management system.

This one day course details the responsibilities and accountabilities that managers and supervisors have with respect to OH&S and injury management and provides them with tools to fulfill their responsibilities. The course also looks at strategies to integrate these principles into the organisation’s management systems.

Completion of this training is a legal requirement for return to work coordinators employed by Category 1 employers (basic tariff premium greater than $50,000).
